Limp Bizkit’s Wes Borland Shares Demo Album of His Failed Band Eat The Day

After guitarist Wes Borland left Limp Bizkit in 2001, he decided to form a band with his brother Scott Borland. The project didn’t last long, with the group disbanding in 2003 without releasing any music. At least, until now.

Wes Borland recently previewed one of Eat The Day’s demo tracks, titled “Whalephant,” for his social media followers and revealed that the band has an entire demo sitting on the shelf. Several weeks later, Borland proceeded to release the full demo on streaming platforms.

Check out the demo on YouTube below.

Besides Wes and Scott Borland on guitars, Eat The Day was
also comprised out of Greg Isabelle on drums and Kyle Weeks on keyboards. The
band created enough material for two albums but disbanded after failing to find
a vocalist.

“It’s been nearly 20 years since my brother [Wes
Borland], Greg Isabell and myself wrote a ton of awesome music, tried and
failed to find a vocalist, and then moved on to other things,” – Scott
Borland wrote on social media. “It was probably the most musically focused
time of my life and although it’s unfinished work I’m so glad that these demos
are going to see the light of day.”
