Live Nation Entertainment Group, the American company formed
when Ticketmaster merged with Live Nation in 2019, is bringing back its annual
ticket mega sale offer that allows Country Music fans to watch their favorite
artists perform at their local amphitheater using only one ticket.
“It is essentially a country music season ticket for the
fan,” the event’s president Brian O’Connell told Billboard. “They don’t have to
sit there and worry about which Friday an act is going on sale.”
The event will see
top Country Music artists tour different cities throughout the US. Jason Aldean
and Dierks Bentley will headline the tour and will be joined by Florida Georgia
Line, Luke Bryan, Thomas Rhett, Brad Paisley, Chris Young and Rascal Flatts.
O’Connell introduced the mega tour, one ticket concept in
the 1990s. With the ticket, fans have the choice to participate in any tour schedule
to happen in a city near them and at any part of the local amphitheaters. One
ticket guarantees fans four to eight shows. This years, fans will also have the
right to reserve their lawn seats.
“We give them the opportunity to sit where ever they want,” O’Connell
said. There are packages available right down front where you get the same
seats every show.”
