Forecastle
Festival is coming back to Kentucky this summer and it’s promising a crazy
party over the course of one long weekend in July. The Killers and Anderson
.Paak have been announced as headliners, but the line-up features several equally
impressive artists.
Forecastle
Festival was founded in 2002 as a small community gathering hosted by local
musicians. It grew into a national attraction over the years, and welcomed thousands
of fans from all around the world. In addition to drawing dozens of major acts
to its stage, Forecastle consistently promoted local artists, and focused on
environmental activism and outdoor recreation.
This
year’s festival will take place between July 12 and 14 at the Waterfront Park
in Louisville. The Killers, the Avett Brothers, and Anderson .Paak will be in
charge of headlining the event, but they aren’t the only reason to buy a
ticket. List of performers also features Portugal. The Man, Chvrches and Maggie
Rogers.
